Seconds are discounted pieces with cosmetic flaws that aren’t up to my normal standards. They are still perfectly functional, just not as pretty as perfect as the rest.
Set of TWO blates (kind of a bowl, kind of a plate) one small and one large. Made with black speckled clay, the large is glazed in black and the small in a soft white.
***The large blate had some pooling of the black glaze, giving it a bit of a mottled look around the base.
***The small blate was fired stacked on top of another, and the black glaze from the other piece dripped down adding few black blobs onto the white glaze.
Large size measures about 8” wide and 2” deep
Small size measures about 7” wide and 1.5” deep
